The Latino and Puerto Rican Affairs Commission (LPRAC) has awarded GBLN its 2008 Community Service Award
The goal of the blood drives were to increase the number of Latino blood donors.
The GBLN hosted an educational forum at the Kelley Center at Fairfield University.
