For over 20 years a group of community leaders and baseball enthusiasts come together to commemorate the death of Roberto Clemente.
Clemente died on December 31, 1972 on a plane crash as he was on a humanitarian mission to bring food and supplies to earthquake victims in Nicaragua.
Amigos De Clemente celebrate Clemente’s accomplishments on and off the field. Roberto’s Legacy is one of a Humanitarian and a person who fought for equality and inclusion.
