Bridgeport 2017 Election Calendar Set

Connecticut Secretary of the State Denise Merrill has released the 2017 election calendar that governs candidate eligibility for the September 12 primary and November 7 general election. The calendar covers key dates for ballot access, filing deadlines, party endorsements and issuance of absentee ballots.

1. Party endorsements: July 18-25, 2017.

2. Certification of endorsements: July 26, 2017 (4:00 p.m.)

3. Nominating petitions filed by: August 9, 2017 (4:00 p.m.)

4. Primary petitions filed by: August 9, 2017 (4:00 p.m.)
