Fall 2016 Course: Puerto Rico in the American Century, a History Since 1898

A survey of Puerto Rican society, both in Puerto Rico and in the United States. The course will explore the history, culture, values, traditions, relationships, politics, art, literature, Diaspora and daily life of Puerto Ricans from 1898 to the present crises on the island.
