Jane’s Walks Bridgeport

On Saturday, May 5, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., join the Bridgeport Downtown Special Services District, and partners Bridgeport Generation Now, bikeport co-op, and Urban Bike Tours of Bridgeport, for a Jane’s Walk, a unique story about how you see, interact with, and feel about your city. On a Bridgeport Jane's Walk, you can explore the city, connect with your neighbors, and contribute to thoughtful conversations about creative, community-driven city building.

The afternoon begins with a brief meet up to learn about the legacy of Jane Jacobs, the urbanist and writer who inspired the worldwide day of walks, and local Bridgeport activists just like her. Then walk or bike the city and learn how to get involved just like Jane. More details on specific routes to come soon. The event is free to attend, but we are asking attendees to register ahead of time.
