National Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration Performance and Cultural Presentation by Grupo Fantasia

The Department of Sociology and the Latino and Puerto Rican Studies Program are hosting a single-day event in observance of National Hispanic Heritage Month. Performance and Cultural Presentation by Grupo Fantasia

Grupo Fantasia in Alumni Hall, Tuesday Oct. 15th from 3:00 to 5:00. Their performance will include two hours of a musical performance highlighting a variety of Latin and Caribbean musical styles; a discussion of the indigenous instruments used by the group, the different musical styles and their origins, and the connections between the music and different styles of dance; as well as a question and answer period with the audience.
