Our Puerto Rican Songbook concert is coming up (stay tuned for details)!

And leading up to that, we offer three free music-and-conversation workshops to give our performance some context.

Saturday, March 4

Typically Puerto Rican – La Musica Tipica de Puerto Rico. Learn about the origins of Puerto Rico’s authentic country music. 1 p.m. Bridgeport Public Library downtown. RSVP here.

Saturday, March 11

Boleros en Borinquen, a performance and discussion of Puerto Rico’s favorite love songs, starting off with some wine and cheese for the occasion. 6:30 at NEST Arts Factory, 1720 Fairfield Ave. Bridgeport

Saturday, March 25

Afro-Puerto Rican Bomba/Plena PR’s African roots transformed into uniquely Boricua song/dance. 1 p.m. at City Lights Gallery
