Puerto Ricans United 2nd Annual Awards Dinner

Puerto Ricans United, Inc. is proud to announce that it will host its second Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday, July 27, 2017. This cultural celebration will take place at Amarante's Sea Cliff in New Haven and will honor Puerto Rican/Latino leaders in the following categories:

1. Community Service Award - Mr. Kevin Diaz, Police Commissioner - City of New Haven

2. Arts & Culture Award - Arte, Inc.

3. Community Non-Profit Award - Cornell Scott - Hill Health Center

It is PRU's mission to empower the Puerto Rican community through promoting education, social advancement, and celebrating our rich culture and its ties to the Greater New Haven area. This Gala will be followed up by our second Festival Puertorriqueno de New Haven, our New Haven Puerto Rican Festival. The festival will take place, Saturday - August 12th on the New Haven Green in Downtown, but first join us July 27th and help us celebrate those that make our Puerto Rican/Latino community that much richer!
