Radiothon to raise money for Puerto Rico

A radiothon to be broadcast on Bomba radio, 104.5 FM, will accept cash and provisions to help the people in Puerto Rico, devastated by Hurricane Maria.

During the radiothon, CTBPT-United for PR will accept donations of water, medicine, waterproof solar flashlights, sanitary napkins, powdered milk, diapers, wipes, generators and chainsaws. The dropoff point is Sazon Y Mambo, 1691 Main St., Bridgeport.

The radiothon and dropoffs are both between 1 and 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1.
