What is better than reading to a classroom of excited first grade students as they enter first grade. Sign up today to experience the joy of giving each first grade student a brand new book. It will be the best thing you do in September.
You will love reading this fun book written by Michelle Knudsen and illustrated by Matt Phelan. This year First Day takes place in all first grade classrooms in the Bridgeport Public Schools, Six to Six Regional Magnet, and New Beginnings Family Academy. Some volunteers get standing ovations after their readings, others like Dr. Paul Broadie II, President of Housatonic Community College, get autographs from all the first grade students.
